It crazy what cars do these days! Keyless push start, weird door handles, moving mirrors, adjusting for height seats, huge screens, lots of buttons, cameras! Im impressed for sure!

On average 2200 people came through Arnold Mack City dock today! Half brought cars and valeted them, thats 600 cars! So yeah I drove a lot of cars today! It went a little like this... pick up keys, initial and check car for damage, wait for the traffic to clear, drive to the designated parking lot, mark the tag for the spot, ride back in the shuttle bus and REPEAT FOR 6 HOURS!

We could not keep up. Even with a 14 person drive team there would be 20 cars to replace them. it was CRAZY! We worked straight thru lunch and the cars didn't slow down till 6pm. Consequently I fell asleep on the boat on the way home.

Making grilled cheese now and planting flowers before bed. Great day on the Island.

It's Summertime!

Summer is officially here, i am a high school graduate! it's so exciting but i don't feel like i'm done, i don't know how to explain it.

so far this summer i have been to 3 grad parties with a ridiculous amount left to go to this summer! but they are fun, and there is usually good food and i get to see my friends, so it's all good! this past weekend i believe i had my shortest trip to the island ever, i was there for about 13 hours. i drove up on friday night with emmalilly and morgan took the last boat, got up on saturday for the 10 o'clock boat and proceeded to drive the almost four hour journey home by myself. the drive by myself was not too great, but i did get to spend an extra night with my sister and christine, and i was on the island, and that makes everything good! i also have been prescribed 2 aircasts because i have stress fractures in my tibias, and oh boy are they attractive...

my grad party is next week, therefore this coming week will be filled with lots and lots of cleaning and yardwork and random errands which will all hopefully turn into a great party. but there will always be something to do to get ready, im hoping i will still be able to have some fun this week though and go kayaking and have a girls night, we'll see.

i want to write more, but i'm fading fast.
